Rally for Nikki's Recovery and Future
Donation protected
As many of you may already know, Nikki recently underwent emergency surgery to remove her lower left leg after a series of severe blood clots suddenly cut off circulation to her foot. One evening, she was celebrating the Fourth of July with friends—dancing, laughing, and making plans to go whitewater rafting in the days ahead. The next evening, she was being life-flighted to EMMC in Bangor.
No one goes through life planning what to do if they suddenly lose a limb. But Nikki’s spirit is incredibly strong, and she’s facing this new reality with the grace of a seasoned warrior, someone who’s no stranger to life’s wicked curveballs. Most of us would see this as a tragedy or a major setback. Nikki, however, is viewing this crucible as a challenge to be met — and ultimately, an opportunity. An opportunity to reconnect with the outdoor sports world she loves.
There’s a long road ahead for Nikki. She’ll need the support of her family, her friends, and her entire army. If you’re able to spare a few dollars to help her along this journey and share her story with others —it would mean the world.
