Hi everyone! My name is Grace Hiers, and I am reaching out to ask for your help and support for our beloved friend, Nevaeh LaMana.

Nevaeh is a dedicated ER nurse at UF Health Shands and is facing an incredibly challenging time and needs our support. Nevaeh suffers from Crohn’s disease and she recently underwent major abdominal surgery, which included the complete removal of her colon. Her surgeon described her colon as the worst he had ever seen in his career, highlighting the severity of her condition.

Since the surgery on 5/16, Nevaeh has experienced several setbacks including a syncopal episode, a severe allergic reaction, blood clot in her kidney, and NG tube insertion (a tube that goes down your nose into your stomach). Despite these immense challenges, Nevaeh has been an absolute trooper, demonstrating incredible strength and resilience throughout this difficult process.

Nevaeh has dedicated her life to helping others, working tirelessly as an ER nurse. She has been a beacon of hope and compassion for countless patients in their most vulnerable moments. Now, it's our turn to give back to her.

Unfortunately, Nevaeh has a long road of healing ahead and will be out of work for a minimum of 6 weeks. With no other source of income at this time, the financial burden of medical bills and daily living expenses is immense.
