While snowboarding, our friend Nate got severely injured by a skier running into him, causing a severe fracture in his neck which requires intensive surgery. This recovery time takes months and requires weeks in the hospital, which impacts his life tremendously as Nate is incredibly active through snowboarding, surfing, hiking, backcountry skiing, and walks with his dog, Oshi. Not only will this injury prevent him from being recreationally active and taking care of his dog, but his job requires him to be incredibly active as well. He is a highly qualified and skilled snowboard instructor and surf instructor. He is incredibly dedicated to his profession and lifestyle, and helping others. He is the kind of person who would drop anything and rush to help, lend money to a friend, and has helped countless people in the valley, so any and all contributions are greatly appreciated in helping one of our community's most loved instructors and friend recover from this tragic accident.
