Rally for My Dad's Recovery
Donation protected
On Memorial Day, my dad was in a motorcycle accident that resulted in a tibial plateau fracture in his leg. He had emergency surgery today to begin stabilizing the injury and will require multiple surgeries, plates, rods, and a long road of physical therapy to fully recover. The swelling has made it difficult to operate right away, so his healing will happen in phases—starting with an external fixator which was placed today, 5/27, and continuing over the next several months. He’ll need another surgery in about two weeks or more to begin the full repair.
My dad is the sole provider for him and my mother and unfortunately, he does not have insurance. This accident means he will be unable to work for an extended period of time, which adds a heavy financial burden on top of an already difficult situation.
My dad has spent his life selflessly serving others through ministry and hard work. He is the kind of person who shows up for everyone—family, friends, coworkers, and strangers. He’s strong, humble, thoughtful, and supportive—he works until the job is done and never complains, no matter how hard things get.
I am asking for support for them to help cover medical expenses and everyday needs while he focuses on healing Any donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. If you can’t give right now, we’d be so grateful if you could share this page to help spread the word.
