Rally for Mom's Recovery and Baby Lincoln

Hi everyone!

We are a soon-to-be family of 5. We are expecting a little boy in June, but unfortunately, some serious complications have come up with mom. I have been diagnosed with a blood clot in my brain and pre-eclampsia. Our little boy is doing well considering everything with mom. With this diagnosis, I have been hospitalized and obviously out of work. If/when I can get discharged to go home, I will be on bed rest until delivery. This is going to take a toll on our family. We have no idea when we will be giving birth and haven’t even gotten everything together for him. This came out of left field for us. In today’s economy, it takes two incomes, and right now we have one. My poor husband is driving back and forth to the hospital to be with me when he can, and we have two other children at home he is caring for as well.

We will also enclose links to our baby registries we had started making prior to all this, as a shower was possibly going to be planned. That is not the case anymore. There’s not a lot that is needed really, just some of the basics we don’t have yet, such as diapers.

We are looking at having to possibly deliver early if I take a turn for the worse and need immediate brain surgery.

This is a very hard situation, being away from my toddler who has no idea why her mommy is not home to rock her to sleep and love on her. It’s even hard on my 13-year-old son. Prayers are also appreciated for my family, this sweet little boy ‘Lincoln,’ and me, of course. I want to raise my babies and make it out of this.
