If you're here, you probably know my mom, and you probably know she's dying of breast cancer. Dying, as it turns out, is expensive. She has insurance, but each CAT scan, each ultrasound (there are lots) is running her $200 or more. Not to mention all the other tests, shots, and treatments. She would lose her mind if she knew I was asking for help, but what else is there? She's ready to give up because of the money alone. How does someone get better when they think they are ruining their family financially?

She has a CAT scan coming up this week or next; I can't remember as I write this. Look, I know people don't have a lot of money, I know people can't give a lot, but if a bunch gave $5, it would add up, right? Please. If you can. Obviously, I will make sure she gets every penny, but I will wait till there is enough to pay a bill before telling her I did this. Please share with all the family and friends you can think of.
