A Mama on the Brink of Birth Needs Our Community Now

She’s 40 weeks pregnant.

A devoted homeschooling mama to three little ones under the age of six, she is just days away from welcoming her fourth baby—and she is doing it alone.

This spring, her sister passed away unexpectedly. While still navigating that grief, her husband was traveling back and forth to San Diego, searching for work while their savings slowly ran dry.

Then on Mother’s Day, he left—for good with no communication or understanding.

Now, with no partner at her side, no family nearby, and three small children needing her every moment, she is facing the unimaginable: preparing to give birth without the support she deserves.

She’s no stranger to birth—she’s had three natural deliveries, her last two born peacefully at home, surrounded by comfort and love. But with her sister’s recent death and the trauma of the past months, the hospital no longer feels like a safe or healing place to bring new life into the world. And without anyone to care for her children if she were to go into the hospital, the option doesn’t feel possible.

She’s poured herself into motherhood, into homeschooling, and into her kitchen—where she once worked as an executive baker, bringing joy and comfort through what she created.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
