Greetings, my name is Mayowa Willoughby. I am a black, queer, nonbinary person living in Ithaca, NY.

Recently, it has become possible for me to purchase a vehicle that I can use for daily transportation. I saved up exactly how much I needed for the purchase of the car but didn’t realize that I would also have to pay state and local taxes on the car totaling almost $1,000. I am reaching out to my community to see if together we can cover the costs associated with taxes, registration, title, and the first month of insurance. I know with this support I’ll be able to meet my daily needs even better than I have been able to thus far.
