Help Support Matt and His Family Through Recovery
If you know Matt, you know he’s the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back and a helping hand before you even asked. He’s always been there for others — especially in the snowmobile community — volunteering countless hours, lending equipment, helping maintain trails, and lifting everyone’s spirits with his humor and heart of gold.
Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
Matt suffered not one, but two strokes and has been in and out of the hospital dealing with setbacks. Currently, he is in the hospital getting a tracheotomy so he's able to breathe, since his vocal cords were paralyzed as a result of the strokes. While he continues to fight hard and make progress in recovery, the road ahead is long and filled with challenges — physically, emotionally, and financially. Between ongoing medical expenses and everyday living costs, things are understandably tough right now for Matt, his amazing wife, and their two young daughters.
Anyone who knows this family knows how much love they share, and how quick they are to open their home and hearts to others in need. They’ve always given so much — now, it’s time to give back.
Funds raised will go toward medical bills, rehabilitation expenses, and heating oil for the upcoming winter, so the family can focus on what matters most: helping Matt heal and keeping their home warm and stable.
Matt might not be thrilled that we’re putting him in the spotlight (because he’s too humble for that), but he truly deserves this support — and so does his family.
If you’re able to contribute, every bit helps. And if you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
Let’s rally around Matt and his family like he’s done for so many of us.
