Rally for Matt, Lisa and the Pontius Family

Hello and thank you for being here! We are here to support Matt, Lisa, and their kids during Matt’s current health crisis.

In the spring of 2025, Matt began experiencing some minor health issues, chalked up to a bad virus. Around that same time the family moved from Charleston, SC to North Carolina. Unfortunately shortly after the move, Matt’s symptoms got much worse and he was taken to the hospital. Without a known cause or clear treatment plan, Matt and Lisa headed home to Charleston hoping for answers.

Back in Charleston, Matt is still hospitalized and dealing with significant swelling in his brain causing many different serious symptoms. Unfortunately there are still many unknowns and unanswered questions as to why this is happening or how to best treat it. Lisa has been by his side every step of the way. She has been his advocate, his caretaker, and his support through it all.

Matt is the primary breadwinner of the family while Lisa has been home raising and homeschooling their three kiddos. Your donation can help ease some of their stress, provide for their 3 kids, and help Matt and Lisa through this incredibly difficult time.
