Help Support Mary’s Recovery Journey
Hi everyone,
As many of you know, my mom, Mary, has been in the hospital since last Friday and is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She was admitted with severe abdominal pain and quickly diagnosed with acute pancreatitis, sepsis, pneumonia, and a bowel perforation — all of which are incredibly serious on their own, let alone happening at the same time.
After several days of intense care, she had to undergo emergency surgery to repair the bowel perforation. The surgery was successful, but she now has an ostomy bag, which will be part of her recovery journey moving forward.
At this time, there is no set discharge date, and the road to recovery will be long and difficult. My mom will be out of work for an unknown amount of time, and with hospital bills, living expenses, and the costs associated with recovery (including wound care, ostomy supplies, and follow-up appointments), the financial strain is already starting to weigh heavily.
My mom has always been a fighter — strong, selfless, and resilient — and now she needs a little extra help from her community.
If you're able, please consider donating to help relieve some of the financial burden while she focuses on healing. Every dollar counts, and if you can’t donate, sharing this page means just as much.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. ❤️
