Rally for Mary Wittke

For those who don't know her, Mary Wittke is an extraordinary woman. She has persevered through a five year battle with stage 4 metastatic melanoma. Her story is incredible, and she has defied the odds with her amazing strength. Since 2014 she has been going through many ups and downs, but recently her situation became more dire. She was  hospitalized multiple times and suffered from severe brain damage, becoming extremely disabled. Her son, Sam and husband, Tom have been administering care to Mary for years, and they have had to step up even more in recent times. Now they face financial burden in addition to Mary's worsening condition. Yesterday, Mary underwent a large brain surgery and is currently in the ICU. Sam and Tom have been helping in many ways, but the Wittke family is walking into tough financial times. Each hospital visit has great cost, and although insurance pays its share, the medical debt keeps growing. The Wittkes are barely able to pay their bills and are concerned with what will come next. There is a lot of uncertainty about what the future holds for Mary, she is getting hit by wave after wave of sad circumstances.
