Help Marissa Focus on Healing — Not Bills

Hi everyone,

I’m asking for help on behalf of my best friend, Marissa — a beautiful soul, incredible mother of three, and one of the hardest-working women I know. Marissa was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

She’s a self-employed hairstylist, which means no work = no income. And with a high schooler, a first grader, and a 3-year-old at home, taking time off for surgery, treatment, and recovery is not just emotionally heavy — it’s financially overwhelming.

Marissa has spent her career making others feel confident, beautiful, and cared for. Marissa never skips a beat when someone needs something and now more than ever, she needs that same love and support poured back into her.

I’m raising funds to help cover basic living expenses — rent, groceries, & utilities — so she can focus on fighting cancer and being there for her kids, without the added stress of how they’ll make ends meet.
