Dear CMT Tennis Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news about our incredible coach Marilyn Superville. She has recently received a breast cancer diagnosis and underwent a double mastectomy last week. Following healing from this traumatic surgery, she will then need to undergo reconstructive surgery as well. This will prevent her from being on the court for several months ahead. Marilyn, known to her students as "Mama Munchkin" is one of the most passionate and creative coaches who has dedicated herself to developing young athletes and fostering a love for tennis.

Marilyn’s commitment to our tennis community goes far beyond teaching the game. She inspires, encourages, and pushes every player to reach their full potential on and off the court. Her energy, creativity, and relentless drive to help others succeed have left a lasting impact on so many of us. She has built a community grounded in hard work, positivity, and teamwork, and now it’s time for us to rally together and show her the same support.

As Marilyn faces this difficult journey, she will be undergoing treatments that are physically, emotionally, and financially challenging. The cost of medical care, treatments, and time away from coaching adds up quickly, and we want to ensure that Marilyn can focus fully on her recovery without the added stress of financial burdens.

We have created this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial pressures Marilyn will face in the coming months. All funds raised will go directly toward her medical expenses, treatments, and any other necessary support to help her heal and stay strong.

Marilyn has given so much of herself to our tennis community, not only as a coach but as a mentor, friend, and advocate for every player.
