Rally for Marilynn Mee: A Milwaukee Icon Needs Our Help

For decades, Marilynn Mee has been the powerhouse voice of Milwaukee rock radio. From launching Lazer 103 (WLZR) and shaping its sound as Music Director to her years connecting with listeners on WKLH, Marilynn has always been a force of nature.

Off the air, she has brought that same fierce energy to our community—she founded and served as President of the MPD K9 Foundation, volunteering for the Wisconsin Humane Society, Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) and passionately backing countless animal rescue causes and organizations across the region.

Marilynn is a born fighter, and right now, she is locked into her toughest battle yet after a diagnosis of terminal cancer. She is facing this reality with the same legendary strength and grit she’s shown her entire life—but even the strongest fighters need a corner team. She needs our community's backup right now.

The extreme financial toll of terminal cancer is overwhelming. Between skyrocketing out-of-pocket medical treatments, specialized care, and basic daily living costs, the mounting bills have created an immediate and staggering hurdle. Marilynn has spent her entire life standing up for Milwaukee’s music, people, and animals. Now, it is our turn to stand up for her.
