My dear Mama has a really difficult time asking for help, but I've convinced her to finally share her story. She really needs her community to rally around right now. You might know her as the foster mom who takes care of everyone or the friend who is always there when you pick up the phone. You might know her as the busy mom who is homeschooling and ferrying her kids everywhere. What you might not know is that after a lengthy successful remission, she is also battling endometrial (uterine) cancer.

Mama is seeing her long-time oncologist that helped her the first round, but it is 100% out of pocket. Majority of all effective treatments are not covered by insurance. Mama's cancer IS treatable, and we are seeing good tumor shrinkage with consistent care. Consistent care = $$ and that is the hard part. Mama has been VERY stubborn about cash flowing the costs themselves as she is a private person❤️

Currently, her oncologist is recommending a more aggressive ( and expensive) treatment plan to get the tumor to shrink in size where surgery can be considered. Right now, the tumor is too large to operate, and lately has been causing pinched nerves, greatly increasing her pain levels. It is so important for this malignant tumor to shrink ASAP, and not spread to any other vital organs.
