On 2/20/25 at 8:07pm, Maleya Michael, decided to make her entrance into the world, weighing 2 lbs 8 oz. Our precious baby girl was just 27 weeks, 3 days gestation and while tiny she is a little fighter!!!

Maleya’s mommy and daddy were caught off guard when Hannah’s water broke. They went to the ER and were waiting to be transferred to Children’s Hospital when the circumstances required them to do an emergency c-section. Maleya was born within 60 seconds of Hannah going into the OR! She is perfect, while little, she has a warrior spirit. A couple hours after her birth she was transferred to Children’s Hospital while Hannah, due to her c-section, had to stay in Greeley. In less that 24 hours Hannah was released and able to head to Children’s to be with her newborn baby. That same day, 2/21, the hospital let Hannah and Jovan know that Maleya was breathing on her own with just oxygen!!! We are actively witnessing miracles with both her and Hannah and we’re so grateful for our answered prayers.

Hannah, Jovan, and Maleya Michael are going to be a Children’s Hospital until our little fighter is able to come home. This will be a process but one that we as a family are optimistic for. These new parents weren’t anticipating their little girls arrival for 3 more months. They hadn’t requested leave from their jobs and weren’t prepared to figure out a new norm down in Denver. As they navigate this season they need some extra help to offset the added expenses.

Please help us bless these new parents. Let’s give them the comfort of knowing that they can focus all their love, time, and energy on their daughter. We don’t want them to feel the added stress of financial burdens however large or small they may be.
