If you have had the pleasure of knowing Makayla, you know what true strength, love, and selflessness look like.

Makayla is a devoted single mom to two beautiful daughters who are her whole world. She’s the kind of person who shows up for everyone — a loyal friend, a loving daughter, a caring aunt, and most of all, an incredible mother. She works hard every day, never complains, and never asks for anything in return. Now, she needs us.

Just recently, Makayla was diagnosed with Stage 3 metastatic cancer, a life-altering blow that no one should have to face — especially not someone as kind and giving as her. She will be undergoing an urgent procedure on June 20, 2025, followed by a hysterectomy and possible chemotherapy. The road ahead will be long, painful, and emotionally and financially draining.

With mounting medical bills, the cost of treatment, and the day-to-day expenses of raising two young girls on her own, the weight is too heavy for Makayla to carry alone. She has always put others first — now it’s time we rally behind her.
