On March 12, 2025, our son Louis Gomez was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident that left him with multiple life-threatening injuries. He was in a coma for two weeks and, by the grace of God, has recently regained consciousness. While we are incredibly grateful that he is awake, Louis is now facing a long and difficult journey toward recovery.

He is currently being treated at Grady Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Louis is suffering from a traumatic brain injury, which has impacted his ability to walk. He also sustained severe injuries to his pelvis and left knee, requiring multiple surgeries, and continues to undergo treatment for complications related to his brain injury.

Louis has always been a bright light in our family and our community. He has been an important part of the Gwinnett Training Academy, where he and his younger sister have trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense. Louis has always taken pride in helping coach and support his little sister — his presence, encouragement, and strength have meant the world to her and so many others.

This GoFundMe has been created to help cover the extensive medical bills, ongoing rehabilitation, and to provide support for our family during this heartbreaking time.
