We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of an extraordinary educator, Liz Gorman, who is facing the fight of her life. Liz is not only a dedicated Exceptional Education teacher but also a beloved friend, mentor, and source of hope for countless students and families.

Liz has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer that has spread to her lungs, brain, liver, and bones. Despite this devastating news, she continues to inspire us with her resilience and determination. However, the financial challenges of her battle are overwhelming.

Having exhausted her sick leave and without access to disability insurance, Liz is struggling to make ends meet. The cost of her healthcare alone is over $1,500 a month, not to mention additional living expenses and the burden of treatments. These mounting costs threaten to overshadow her focus on healing and her quality of life.
