Rally for Liz: Chemo, Surgery, and Healing

In May, Liz was diagnosed with breast cancer. The cancer is apocrine adeno carcinoma, Stage 2B/Grade 2 Tumor, HER2 Positive. Liz's prognosis is good, but she has a long road ahead of her: 6 months of chemo, double mastectomy, radiation, reconstructive surgery, and targeted drugs for a year.

Liz is optimistic, strong, determined, and resilient as hell. Those of us who know Liz know that she has already learned how to be all of those things from the loss of her parents in 2018 and 2019. Now, she has to flex all those coping skills again.

Liz and her husband Adam need our support. Liz has left her job as a teacher to focus on her health and recovery, and we want to provide them with support with household tasks and expenses during this time. Thank you for being part of Liz and Adam's village and supporting them while Liz focuses on fighting cancer and recovery.
