Our dear friend, Lisa Briscoe, is preparing for her final reconstructive surgery this December—an important step in her long recovery after breast cancer. This procedure requires four full weeks off work so she can properly rest and heal.

Lisa does not have paid sick leave or Special Leave available, which means she will be without her usual income during her recovery. A full month without employment income creates a significant and stressful financial gap.
