Rally for Lisa: A Community's Call to Action

Let me introduce my boss, Lisa Sandifer Richard. She has been with Lacombe/Mandeville Head Start for 31 years. She has worn many hats at our school and has worked her way up to Center Manager. There is not a job she will not do for her school and community. Ask anyone in our little town of Lacombe, Louisiana.

Anyone who knows her will tell you the first words that comes to mind when her name is mentioned are "selfless", "generous", and "faithful". She has always been the person to lift others up, offering her time, energy and kindness whenever anyone needs it. Now it is our turn to lift her up.

Earlier this year, Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer, a journey she is navigating with incredible courage and unshakable faith. True to her character, she continues to inspire those around her with her resilience, positivity, and trust in God's plan.

However, as you might imagine, the financial burdens of cancer treatments, medical bills and time away from work are significant. While Lisa has always been the first to help others, she is now in a place where she could use our help. Our goal is $20,000, to support her durning this challenging time. This will allow her to focus o healing and recovery without the stress of mounting expenses.

Together we can ensure she feels the same love and support she has so generously showed to others. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Your support will provide practical help, but more importantly, it will remind Lisa that she is not alone in this fight.
