Rally for Leslie: Battling Cancer Again

Dear Friends & Family,

We're reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your support in helping Leslie Wallace, who is bravely battling cancer for the third time. On March 3, she underwent surgery for a bowel obstruction. While the surgery was successful, the obstruction was unfortunately a tumor, and they have found other cancerous spots.

As you can imagine, facing a diagnosis like this is incredibly overwhelming, and on top of the emotional and physical challenges, the mounting medical bills have become a significant burden.

Leslie's teaching career has always focused on students in difficult situations. Wherever she has lived, she has sought out opportunities to serve others. She is a dedicated wife to Seth, mom to three young adults, and support to her extended family. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Despite the financial strain that cancer treatment can bring, Leslie has shown incredible strength and resilience throughout this difficult journey. For the foreseeable future, she will not be able to return to work. Now, it’s our turn to support Leslie and her family in their time of need.

The funds raised will go directly towards Leslie’s medical expenses, including:

- Hospital bills (the most recent stay was 18 days)

- Further testing and treatment, which is often out of network

- Health insurance

- Prescription medications and in-home health care

- Doctor visits and follow-up appointments
