Hello, my name is Christy Cope and on behalf of myself and my sisters, Charity and Lindsey, we are organizing this fundraiser for our dad, Larry (Carshow Larry) Clem. It is with deep sadness that he has lost Jamie, his wife of 43 years, to dementia at the young age of 71. The life insurance Jamie carried for years was canceled due to a company buyout without them knowing, and as much as Dad tried to get it back, he was unsuccessful. With final expenses and hospital bills, life is really beating him down right now. He said to me, “I feel like I have a black cloud over my head.”

Jamie was so quick-witted, spunky, and had a take-no-crap attitude that you couldn’t help but love her immediately. If you were fortunate enough to be in her circle, you also knew that she would do anything for the people she loved. She will be deeply missed by everyone that was lucky enough to know her and be loved by her. The world is a little less bright without her.

Dad has been Carshow Larry for over 25 years and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities and mission trips for the church. My hope is that his family, friends, and Carshow enthusiasts will come together in his time of need like he has for countless others. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, and please say a prayer for Jamie and Larry.
