The purpose of this fundraiser is to support Larry Belo, who is facing a life-threatening medical emergency. Larry Belo recently suffered a brain hemorrhage, a devastating condition that demands urgent medical attention.

On May 24, 2025, Larry Belo was rushed to the hospital when he collapsed at home. After tests, doctors discovered a large brain bleed. This sudden and devastating medical emergency has meant Larry is now under full-time medical care.

Larry Belo has undergone surgeries to stop the bleeding and is currently in the neuro-ICU. While he is showing signs of progress, the road to recovery is long and uncertain. Larry will undergo intensive treatment and numerous medical procedures, and the costs are mounting rapidly. Funds are needed to cover: ICU and hospital stay costs, multiple surgeries, medications and specialist treatments, diagnostic costs, and long-term rehabilitation and post-ICU care. The loss of income during this time for both Larry and his family is creating a financial burden they cannot bear alone. Additionally, Larry will require ongoing therapy and potentially adjustments to his home to facilitate recovery.
