Rally for Kristin's Health and Family

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for an

incredible woman, mother, and fighter-Kristin Payne. Kristin is a single

mother and sole provider for two amazing children, 15-year-old Ashton and

20-year-old Chelsea. She has dedicated her life to ensuring those around her

feel welcomed, cared for and encouraged. Whether you have interacted with

her in your travels as a guest at the hotel, where she is a General Manager;

have had the joy of experiencing a meal she has prepared, or appreciated

her talent for creating whimsical holiday displays that exemplifies her special

brand of magic and imagination that only Kristin is able to provide. If you

have the pleasure of meeting her, you may be introduced as strangers, but

will undoubtedly leave as friends. Her warmth is almost immediately felt by

all, and her magnetic charm is undeniable. Everything she does is sprinkled

with the love and depth of care that makes her so special not only to her

children, but all who know her.

Recently, Kristin received devastating news. She has been diagnosed with

Congestive Heart Failure and Stage 4 Lung Cancer. This diagnosis has turned

her world upside down, and while Kristin is courageously battling her illness,

the anticipated financial burden is overwhelming, especially with her reduced

ability to provide for her family.

The expenses for hospital visits, medication costs and physician co-pays are

mounting and she has become challenged with maintaining the normal

household bills and will eventually be faced with deciding between her health

and ensuring her daughter can continue her college education. As a mother,

this is almost an impossible choice to be forced to make, especially as her

daughter is scheduled to graduate next school year. Kristin’s natural

inclination is to work as much as possible, however, with this diagnosis, it is

not feasible to do so.

With your generosity and ongoing medical care, Kristin can have the

invaluable gift of time with her children and the ability to focus on her

treatment and recovery. Your donation will help provide relief by

supplementing costs for medical needs and household expenses for her

family.

Kristin has always been a pillar of strength and kindness for others, but now,
