Rally for Kip's Cancer Journey

Dear Family, Friends, and Community,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart. A friend, neighbor, and most importantly someone I consider family, Kip was recently diagnosed with cancer and faces a long and difficult battle.

Kip is a family man, loving father, dedicated husband, devoted friend, hard worker, hard-headed, rough around the edges, no-nonsense, fixer of all things kind of man with a voice recognizable from a mile away that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Cancer has already disrupted his and his family's life in many ways.

His wife, Ramona, has not left his side. She is one of the most resilient, strong, empathetic, humble, caring, and God-fearing women I know. She is the true definition of what family first means. She is a true warrior and will remain at Kip's side to fight this battle with him, as well as their children, Kaitlyn and DJ.

Kip was to begin chemo last night with Ramona at his bedside. Cancer has affected everyone reading this in some form or fashion, so we all can share the uncertainty, heartbreak, and stresses that come with it. Kip's journey is one that consists of having his family by his side. In the 16 years of being a part of this family, I have never seen them not function as a family unit.

Please join me in helping Kip, Ramona, Kaitlyn, and DJ focus on Kip's battle. Let's rally together for this family as they would for any one of ours. Whether it be a prayer, a share, or a donation, every little bit helps with taking some of the weight off their shoulders.
