On Wednesday, July 10th, Kerry's sister received a distressing call from Kerry's coworker, saying she had a blackout at work. Rushing to her side, her sister took her to the hospital, where a series of tests revealed the heartbreaking news: a very large brain tumor. None of us were aware of the symptoms she had been experiencing. Kerry's sister, Kandice, has since witnessed the terrifying episodes of her blackouts and short-term memory loss.

Given the severity and rapid progression of the tumor, doctors have advised immediate surgery to remove it. This comes with a price: The cost of the surgery is $250,000 (TT) or $50,408 (Canadian), with an additional $5,000 (TT) or $1,008 (Canadian) for each night she remains in the medical center. My ask for $302,530 (TT) or $61,000 (Canadian) will cover the cost of the surgery and 10 days in the medical centre. All funds raised will be given to her immediate family located in Trinidad to Kerry the treatment she needs.
