Katelynn is a 34-year-old mother of two whose strength has been tested since the day she was born. At just three months old, she was diagnosed with a heart condition that nearly took her life. Against all odds, Katelynn fought through and grew into the loving, devoted single mother her children know today.

On August 14th, Katelynn was rushed to the emergency room in critical condition. She has been in the ICU on life support ever since. Each day has been a battle, with only small but meaningful signs of progress—like giving a thumbs up or raising her eyebrows to let her family know she is still fighting.

Through it all, Katelynn’s mom, Kimberly, has remained steadfast by her daughter’s side. She has placed her job on hold and stepped in to care for Katelynn’s two children while also supporting her daughter through this unimaginable fight. Katelynn’s children mean the world to her, and I know it breaks her heart not to have been there to see them off on their first day of school this year.

Katelynn has always been a fighter, but now she needs us to fight alongside her. The medical costs, daily expenses, and the needs of her children are overwhelming.
