Karina Paola has recently been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. While the exact cause of thyroid cancer remains uncertain—likely tied to a combination of genetic and environmental factors—its impact is very real. For some, there are no warning signs; for others, a lump in the neck is the first clue.

Treatment can be effective, but it’s intense. Karina faces a long road that may include surgery, hormone therapy, radioactive iodine, radiation, and possibly chemotherapy.

Kari is one of the strongest, most beautiful, and joyful souls I know. Her strength and positivity shine through even in the darkest moments, and I have full faith that she will overcome this challenge.
