Help Kareen Colas-Jerome Fight Stage 4 Stomach Cancer

Hi, my name is Fabrice Jerome.

Alongside my brothers Christian (38) and Stefan (32), we are rallying around our mother, Kareen Colas-Jerome, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer.

This diagnosis came out of nowhere. It’s been overwhelming — emotionally, physically, and financially.

We lost our father unexpectedly when we were kids, and from that moment on, our mother gave everything she had to raise the three of us on her own.

She worked hard, made sacrifices, and pushed us to become the men we are today. She’s been our rock. Now she needs us — and we’re doing everything we can to make sure she gets through this.

The Challenge

The cancer has created a large mass that’s blocking her bile duct, causing dangerously high bilirubin levels, which must be lowered before she can begin treatment.

To address this, doctors placed both a biliary drainage tube and a paracentesis catheter to remove fluid buildup from her abdomen and relieve pressure.

These procedures are working, but recovery will take time, rest, and close monitoring.

I’ve taken 12 weeks of unpaid leave to care for her full-time.

That means we urgently need help covering the essentials while making sure she’s fully supported on her healing journey.
