Rally for Kam's Miracle: Donate Now

Our friend Chelsea's 18-year-old son, Kam, was in a horrific car accident early Sunday, 6/8/25, Morning. He flipped his car and was thrown 30–40 feet from the vehicle. Kam suffered a broken neck in two places, a broken back, numerous lacerations, a traumatic brain injury, and had to be airlifted from Springhill Hospital in Mobile to Sacred Heart in Pensacola for emergency surgery. He is currently on a ventilator and in critical condition.
He made it through surgery, but we are believing for a major miracle. Doctors are saying he is paralyzed from the shoulders down with only a 10-15% chance of any kind of recovery. We are crying out to God and shaking the walls of Heaven for Kam.

Chelsea is one of the most selfless mothers I know — even while battling her own health issues, she always puts her three children first. Now, with Kam in the ICU hours away from home, she’ll be unable to work and will need all the support she can get.

Whether you can give or not, we ask that you cover this family in prayer and share this post to spread the word. Every prayer, every share, and every dollar counts.

All donations will go directly to supporting the family of 18-year-old Kam, who was involved in a horrific car accident that left him with a broken neck and back. He is currently facing an incredibly long and difficult road to recovery, including surgeries, hospitalization, and ongoing rehabilitation.

Funds raised will help cover:

Medical expenses not covered by insurance (surgeries, specialist care, therapy)

Travel and lodging for his family as they stay by his side during his hospital and rehab stays

Adaptive equipment and modifications to the home for accessibility (wheelchair ramps, hospital bed, etc.)

Daily living expenses, as his mom is missing work to care for him full-time

Long-term care and therapy needed to support his recovery and new way of life

This journey is one no family should face alone. Every donation, no matter the size, brings hope, relief, and strength to Kam and those who love him. Thank you for standing with them during this unimaginable time.

Let’s rally for Kam’s miracle.

Update from Chelsea 6/8/25 around 4:00pm
Latest update on my son..his neck was broken in 2 places (c3 & c4 clean through & through breaks) they did surgery today, they had to go in the front & the back of his neck (front has a plate & back has rods and screws). He will be on the ventilator until Friday at the earliest. Hopefully they can take him off without any issues. He can hear us & he will open his eyes a little, shake his head whenever we ask him something, he has cried & also cracked a little smile. I feel so helpless because he is aware that something is going on but he can't talk because of the tube in his throat and they have declared him paralyzed from the shoulders down at this point so he can't move anything either. Only time will tell what the future holds but he will be at Sacred Heart for 5 days and then he will be sent to a rehab out of state for 3 months at minimum. There is nowhere local that specializes in his type of injury. I have not slept in over 24 hours and I'm still trying to wrap my head around all of it. I thank the man upstairs that my son is still alive but I feel like I'm in a nightmare right now!!

Yall I never ask anyone for anything! He has at this point been declared paralyzed from the shoulders to his feet the doctor said that there is a 10-15% chance that he will ever recover from this. That even if he does improve some it will only be a minimal. Once he leaves this hospital he will be sent straight to a rehabilitation center in either Georgia or Louisiana for a minimum of 3 months. I will have to travel back and forth from place to place as I have kids in Mobile as well. I know the God I serve is bigger than any of this and he is able to turn any situation around for the good! Yall my whole life just fell apart in the blink of an eye..I am so hurt & lost right now! Even if you can't donate PLEASE just pray for us especially my son right now!
