Rally for Kaelyn: Critical life-saving surgery
Donation protected
Hello friends and family, Kaelyn Sanchez is my best friend. Some of you may know, but back in June of 2024 she had an unexpected health problem occur and she had an ischemic stroke. As a result from the stroke she had lost eyesight in one eye, blurry vision, had speech problems, memory loss, and a few other things. Currently, everything has gone back to normal except minor memory loss, dizziness, and headaches.
Kaelyn had her follow-up MRI in June of 2025 to make sure everything is still fine. It did not come out as planned. She has been diagnosed with a rare disease called MOYAMOYA. Which causes narrowing of the arteries. It is just a matter of time before she has another stroke or worse, which we do not want. All of our faith is in God right now.
Since moyamoya is rare and only surgery can fix it, it takes a specialist. There are only a few who do the surgery and it is a very delicate but necessary surgery. She will need to be going all the way to STANFORD CALIFORNIA, yes you are hearing it right, Stanford California where a doctor has approved her for surgery. Since it is a rare surgery, it is also a costly one. A very last minute, expense with a very short time to get the funds together, with just a little over a month. She will need help with hotel cost, gas or plane (that is still to be determined), medical bills, food, and unexpected cost. Their family is a one income house hold, so with Oscar being off work to help her it will take a toll financially.
Kaelyn needs a miracle and God is going to watch over her and all the doctors through this, and her husband and children who need her the most. If you are able to give, anything is appreciated. If you cannot, she understands, just please say a prayer or some kind words.
She will make it through this.
Thank all of you for your love and support.
