Rally for Judy's Recovery and Goran's Memory

My name is Curtis, and I'm asking for help with a family crisis. My parents, Goran and Judy Granstrom, were in a traumatic car accident the evening of March 29th. Judy had internal bleeding under close watch that fortunately resolved without any organs being removed. She is currently in ICU recovering from pelvic, rib, and hip fractures. My father was rushed to emergency surgery, but unfortunately, he didn't make it through. My mother and I have been celebrating his life, and she is in great spirits.

As of today, Tuesday, April 1, we are preparing to move out of Intensive Care into a normal room where we can accommodate visitors and are still on a wait-and-see in terms of the duration of the physical therapy and bed rest that will be needed to make it down the path of recovery.

We are asking for help to cover costs of extensive imaging, surgeries, lost work, vehicle replacement, and of course, funeral services for Goran. We will be sharing details on the celebration of life as it comes into focus and giving much notice to all of you out of state that wish to participate. My father lived a long and full life. We truly are celebrating all of the years we had, and I offer deep gratitude to all that contribute, even if it is as simple as a prayer for my mother in these challenging times.
