Rally for Joshua's Family After Storm Damage

I'm shea + I'm a member volunteer with Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) National.

My coachee Kelly had a SURJ Mass Meeting scheduled for this Saturday, but severe weather in northwest Iowa last night means that priorities have had to shift to storm clean-up.

I'm raising funds for Kelly's son, Joshua, whose truck was destroyed by a fallen tree in last night's storm. Joshua is already struggling with injuries + five kids in his blended family. His truck was essential to his being able to work two jobs—as a mechanic + at a bar.

Because he is a mechanic, he can get a used truck + fix it up. But this is a moment where the SURJ community could really make a huge difference following the mental, emotional + physical clean-up from this destructive storm.
