My name is Kathy (Marlett) Lockeby and I am a long time friend of the Barnes Family. I am setting up this page for the Barnes Family.
As some of you may already know, Joey Barnes was admitted to ICU at Riverside Hospital on October 28, 2016 with complications from acute pancreatitis. Joey's health started to take a turn for the worst, so he was recently transferred to ICU at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Joey still remains at Northwestern and is fighting for his life.
Joey is a loving son, husband, and father. Joey is married to Holly and they have a 3 year old son Liam. With complications of his condition that arise everyday, Joey is facing a long road to recovery. The family is already experiencing a financial burden with lost wages, transportation costs, and medical bills starting to come in. If you are able to donate, it will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way towards easing the financial strain of this unexpected medical crisis.
The funds that are generously donated towards the goal will be used to pay for medical costs (both current and in the future), transportation costs, household/living expenses resulting from Joey and Holly's time absent from work and towards items that can make their life easier as he goes through this process. Any funds received over the goal amount will be used towards any purpose they deem fitting. I would like to make this time as pleasant as possible for Joey and his family.
