Rally for Joe Pilozzi: Medical and Family Aid

This page is for our beloved Joe Pilozzi who was the victim of a horrifying act of Violence Saturday night. Joe has been an EMT for as long as I’ve known him but has always dreamt of being a handyman and semi recently was finally able to make that happen. He is the most devoted single dad I have ever met and would offer the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.

Joe was at the Shortsville carnival with his two kids last night working Security when he saw a fight break out amongst a group of juveniles. Joe (being the dad he is) stepped in to break it up. Unfortunately the kids turned on him.. one of them sucker punching him in the face causing an open fracture to the lower jaw, while another kid jumped in his back. Fellow bystanders are getting involved at this point and got Joe outta there while the kids tried to run. Thankfully they were arrested, but unsure what (if anything) will happen since they’re underage. Joe was transported by ambulance to Strong Hospital and will require surgery. This is where we need to come in. Joe does not have health insurance. He does not have secondary income. He isn’t even out of the hospital yet and already trying to figure out how he can finish his current jobs and make ends meet. We need to rally around this man and show him all the love and support we can while he and the kids navigate this absolutely insane event.
