Rally for Jess Helie: Beat Cancer Together

Our names are Brian and Erica Stack. Our children have been students of Jess and we have put this fundraiser together.

Jess Helie, a beloved music teacher in the Timberlane Regional School District, needs our help. Five months ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and started chemo treatments. Like many who have traveled a similar journey, it has been a roller coaster and a true test to her physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Jess, or as her music students affectionately call her, "Ms. Helie," desperately needs our help. She has lost her second source of income, she is running out of sick days, and her household bills are piling up fast. This month she wasn't even able to put fuel in the tank to heat her home. The cold weather has not helped.

Jess is so incredibly grateful for all of the support she has gotten so far on this journey. From her family and friends surrounding her with love and strength, her colleagues and friends who have made and delivered meals, donated sick time, or given rides to treatment, it’s all meant the world to her.

Let's help Jess pay some of her bills so that she can focus her energy on beating cancer. She gives so much of herself to the children of our Timberlane community, and has contributed so much to the larger New England musical community, it is time for us to show her our gratitude.
