Rally for Jeremy: Road to Recovery
Donation protected
As most of you know by now, Jeremy (also known as Bob & Hobbit by many loved ones) was in a horrible motorcycle wreck on Friday. We are SO SO blessed he is still here with us. It is truly a miracle he survived. While we are trying our hardest to focus on the positive, there is also a lot of negative that has come with this, as you can imagine.
As of today, he’s already had multiple surgeries and still has several to come. He’s been left with a broken leg, ankle, arm, wrist, fractured pelvis, ripped/broken voice box, lacerations to his spleen and kidney, & too many cuts and bruises to count.
Jeremy was the primary provider for my mom and my two teenage brothers, meaning they’re now without their main source of income. On top of the stress from everyday bills, my family now faces many new expenses including trips/stays in/to Little Rock, lawyer fees, medical bills, medical supplies that will be needed for when Jeremy is home, etc. there is honestly too much to list. While the whole family has stepped up to help and rally for our Bob, my mom who’s been by his side almost his whole time since being in Little Rock & my two brothers, there are some gaps we just can’t fill.
We haven't been given any kind of time frame & have no idea when he will even be back in the state. As right now we’re expecting months and even longer than that until he’s able to return to work, if he even can.
If you know Bob, you know he would give the literal shoes off his feet for anyone. He is the type of person that has shown up for me every single time I have called or needed him, without hesitation. He helps anyone he can. & i’m not saying that for the sake of this post. There are so many people that can speak for his helping character. You may get some of his spicy Hobbit attitude, but nonetheless, that’s our Bob. And he’s always there.
Now it’s our turn to help him. He would never ask (and neither will mom) & I may get in trouble from him later for this. But pride doesn’t pay the bills. I’ve never done this before and honestly never thought I would be in this situation, but here we are. If you’ve read this far and you aren’t able to help financially, please pray. He needs all the prayers he can get. God saved him for us and we owe him all the praise. Please keep my family in your prayers as well, if you know their story, you know how hard this has been and how hard it’s going to be. Our goal is set at $20,000 but I promise we are thankful for anything. Anything helps.
