My name is Debbie. My daughter Jennifer desperately needs help to pay her rent and catch up on her utilities. She had to go to the emergency room on Saturday and is currently in ICU. She was on a ventilator and in a sedated state for 2 days. She is battling infections in her body as well as pneumonia. She was expected to be released to return to work at the end of this month but at this point that's more than likely not an option. She also has has terminal and life-threatening medical issues. She has had diabetes since she was 15 and, at 38 years old, has congestive heart failure, COPD, and diabetic neuropathy. All of these affect her being able to work full-time. Her heart is only functioning at 25%, and her cardiologist told her her heart could stop at any time. Jennifer had an internal defibrillator put in on July 16th. She cannot return to work until the doctor clears her at the end of August. This means she will have no income for rent, utilities, or food until her doctor releases her to return to work. She also cannot drive until the release from her doctor at the end of August. She has been in and out of the hospital several times since December. She works as much as she can. I have helped her as much as I can, but my income is limited as my husband has also been in and out of the hospital this year and hasn't been able to work. We have exhausted help from charitable organizations in our area. Please help as much as you can. And I thank you in advance for any amount you can donate. This fundraiser is so she and her son can stay in their apartment and keep the electricity on until she can start working again.
