Rally for Jennifer Wynn's Healing

I’m setting up this Go Fund Me for Jennifer Wynn and her family. I’ve been one of Savannah and Shyann’s dance teachers and team coaches for several years. I have had the pleasure of getting to know this sweet family, and consider them family. As many of you know, Jennifer was rushed into emergency surgery on February 9. The surgery went well, but she shared some difficult news that is challenging for the whole family, and there are tough decisions to make. She’s in severe pain and very weak. The surgeon ended up having to remove a portion of her intestines due to a serious infection that had a total of 2 rips leaking bacteria. The doctor mentioned that if she had waited just half a day longer to seek help, the outcome could have been much worse. She is very grateful to be alive; thank God for His protection…We are too!

There is a very long road ahead for Jennifer’s recovery. She will be in the hospital for several days, and then she’ll need to spend several months on bed rest. Right now, theres an issue of fighting the infection, the bacteria that was leaked into her bloodstream and around her gut. She’s also struggling with low oxygen levels. She has a large incision that runs from the very top of her belly to the bottom. She has to have a colostomy bag for a year, something she is absolutely devastated and unhappy about this. She will also need another surgery later in the year.

The Wynn family does not have health insurance and they are trying to navigate all this. Because Jennifer has been the primary breadwinner for their family, this responsibility now falls on their girls. Breanna, Savannah, and Shyann have always done whatever necessary to help their family, but now it’s time for friends and extended family to help support these sweet young ladies.
