Rally for Jeff: Facing Cancer's Challenges
Doação protegida
As many of you know, Jeff was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2019. It was because of everyones genorosity that we were able to provide treatment for Jeff, which kept him in partial remission for 6 yrs. Unfortunately, yesterday, while at MD Anderson, we got the news that cancer has steadliy been progressing. Treatment is no longer working. His oncologist has a new plan of treatment, which needs to start immediately in order to control the cancer. Due to treatment no longer working, he has lesions throughout his body that need to be addressed as soon as possible with radiation. It's as if we are staring all over again. We have two MRIs in the next two days. A bone marrow tap and meeting with radiation specialists have been scheduled. For treatment, we will need to travel to Houston once a week for two months for chemotherapy, starting June 3rd, then once every two weeks. Expenses such as gas, hotel stays, parking fees, meals, transportation, copaymets and medical bills accumulate quickly. It is because of this that we are reaching out to our friends and family for help once again. We have a long journey ahead, but we are praying and believing that with the help, kindness, and generosity of others, the journey will be a little less stressful. If you are able to donate anything, this will be a huge blessing to our family. Please keep Jeff and our family in your prayers. Thank you and God bless.
