Rally for Jason's Healing Journey

We are SO thankful and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for Jason's recovery. He and his family are sure to feel the love and prayers coming from everyone, as well as the peace of mind that comes from the financial gifts to help them through this time. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for the generosity in their time of need. SO.

I'm Stephanie Ostlie, and together with their many concerned cousins, we've convinced the Gader family to allow us to establish this GoFundMe account to help alleviate some of the financial burden that is going to impact them after Jason's automobile accident.

As you may know, Jason was in a serious accident on the way to work the morning of Thursday, March 6, 2025. After being initially transported by ambulance to the ER in Northwood, Jason was transferred to Altru in Grand Forks to treat his injuries. As he was being prepped and sedated for surgery for his fractured pelvis and sacrum, Jason's heart stopped, and thankfully he was revived but placed on life support to allow his body to rest and recouperate. The following day the doctors brought him back into the ER and successfully placed a plate and pins in the pelvic bone and the sacrum, and by Saturday Jason was extubated and even talking a bit. He is looking at 6-12 weeks of immobilization in order for the pelvis to heal, and after that extensive therapy to regain his strength and mobility.

As of today, Jason remains in the ICU, as his oxygen needs preclude him from moving to a different unit. He has developed pneumonia, and is being monitored closely to ensure a full recovery.

Needless to say, Jason, Heidi, and the girls have a long road ahead of them on this journey to recovery, and on top of the medical expenses, Jason's inability to work will prove to be a financial burden. If you can find it in your heart to help the Gader family to ease their hardship through this time and allow them to focus on Jason's recovery, it would be greatly appreciated.
