Hi, My name is Alexis. I am Jared’s sister’s Best Friend since pre-school. I watched Jared grow into an amazing kid! Jared just turned 18. He had these major symptoms around Easter time. He went in Thursday June 26,2025 around 9pm for a major headache and neck spasms. He started throwing up, vision changes. That’s how he knew something was off. After they finally did all kinds of tests, they found a 3in brain tumor inside his brain on the left portion, very massive and abnormal. They were going to life flight him Thursday night but weather was acting up so they didn’t want to risk it. They ended up getting him transport at 4am and they were deciding whether they should do surgery or not. They decided to do surgery at 12pm Friday afternoon. He was in surgery 11 hours. He has lost a lot of blood so they had stopped the surgery. They are doing all kinds of scans because they don’t know how much they have taken out so far because he just kept bleeding constantly. they had to keep stopping. they said it was massive and so abnormal. but he’s hanging in there right now. he’s slowly waking up. his pupils are good, blood pressure fluctuated a little but not majorly. they have the breathing tube in him. They have to do another surgery in about a week-2 weeks. They have to go into the other side which is more riskier than the side they already cut him on.
