Hello Everyone! My name is Meghan and I am Jamie's sister-in-law. I didn't meet Jamie through marriage - we used to work together at a restaurant in Chicago (where Jamie grew up), and we became close friends. In fact, she introduced me to my now-husband, her big brother Rob!

Jamie is having major surgery on March 11, 2025, to remove two large tumors. Her care team expects the surgery to be extremely complex and she will have one surgeon assigned to each tumor during the operation. These tumors will be biopsied and Jamie will very possibly need long-term treatment for cancer. Regardless, Jamie's surgery and ongoing care will be extremely, prohibitively expensive. She will be unable to work for a significant amount of time

Everyone who is lucky enough to know Jamie at all is well aware of her bright light. It shines through with her infectious laugh and sense of humor, her generous and outgoing spirit, her unabashed honesty, and her fierce loyalty to all of her loved ones. Also, those who know Jamie are very aware that she does not like to ask for or accept help. We have set up this GoFundMe so that Jamie can do the most important thing - focus on her health and healing during an extraordinarily difficult time.
