Rally for Jamie's Health and Recovery
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
January 21st Jamie had horrific pain in her lower abdomen area. She had no choice but to call 911. She was taken to Uplands in Dodgeville and immediately put on morphine for the pain. A CT scan was run and they discovered her colon had burst and there was a hole in it due to diverticulitis. She was sent into emergency surgery immediately, which was the first of two surgeries. She was then required to stay in the hospital to recover and learn what her life will entail for the next at least three months, up to six months when it's all said and done. She has been released from the hospital on 1/28/25 and will need to stay with her parents.
Jamie never imagined she would find herself in this position, so I'm reaching out because she needs your help. Recently, she experienced a serious medical emergency that has completely turned her life upside down. While she is focusing on recovery, the financial strain has been overwhelming. Between mounting medical bills and being unable to work, she is struggling to make ends meet. Without any outside financial support, I humbly ask for your kindness and compassion. If you're able to contribute, no matter how small, it would mean the world to her and help ease the weight of this situation. Sharing her story with others who might be willing to help would also be an incredible way to show your support. This is one of the hardest things she has ever had to do, but I truly believe in the power of community.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any help or encouragement you can give her.
With gratitude,
