Rally for James: House Fire Recovery

The wildfire at Piney Point out by Beaver Lake in Rogers, AR that started on Thursday, March 13, 2025 burned down James Cooper's home. His house, pole barn with attached chicken coop and garden are a complete loss. There is nothing to salvage.

James is a retired firefighter and EMT from Beaver Lake FD. That afternoon, when what started as a brush fire rapidly spread up the ridge where there were 3 homes, James didn't hesitate to help save his neighbor's homes. He thought his home was going to be salvageable, but then the tender trucks ran out of water. When his roof caught flame, he knew his house would be lost. He watched it burn down.
