Rally for James' Cancer Battle - We are #TeamJames

We are #TeamJamesCuffie!!!

James is a wonderful husband to Tara and a devoted father to their 6-year-old son, Xavier. This little family is loved by everyone whose lives they touch. Now, they need our help.

On October 31st, James was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a type of cancer that affects the bone marrow and blood. He’s currently undergoing chemotherapy through an Ommaya reservoir and is expected to remain in the hospital for an undetermined period. Following this, he’ll transition to more traditional chemotherapy at home. In other words, the Cuffies are in for a long journey of healing.

As the primary earner, James worked as a bartender, paid hourly and through tips, with no salary to fall back on. This means the family will lose nearly all of their income while James receives this life-saving treatment, which could last months, a year, or even more. We need James to focus fully on healing, while Tara supports him and keeps life as steady as possible for little XJ.

With no close family nearby, it’s up to us to rally around them. James loves sports, and now we have the chance to be his star teammates and to cheer them on. Any contribution is deeply appreciated and will show them they are not alone in this.
