We are rallying together to support an incredible woman—Hope. She is a loving mom, grandma, sister, friend, teacher, and the kind of person who has always been there for others. Now, she needs us.

On March 4, 2025, Hope was admitted to the hospital for 10 days, enduring a whirlwind of tests, scans, and doctor visits that led to an unimaginable discovery. A large mass was found in her mediastinum which is pressed between her spine, heart and lungs. She has been diagnosed with an aggressive, inoperable Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Her doctors wasted no time, urging treatment to begin within 10 days of her diagnosis.

Hope is incredibly strong, but this battle is taking a toll. She is too weak to work and, as a substitute teacher, being around children puts her at risk of infection during treatment. Her husband, Barry, and I—along with many caring friends—are doing everything we can to support her at home and at appointments. But with medical bills piling up, we want to lift some of the financial burden so Hope can focus solely on healing.
